Hand Building Pottery

Hand building is a great technique to make any vessel or sculpture you can imagine. It involves building pottery from slabs of clay. For beginners, this technique tends to be a more rewarding experience than wheel throwing, though keep in mind that one technique is not “better” than the other!

Once a month, we have a specific hand building workshop available. Some of the projects include how to make mugs, platters, bird feeders, butterdishes and so much more!

Class occupancy is limited to eight students per session. Age Limit for all classes and sessions is adults 15+.

These workshops cost anywhere from $55-$75 depending on the project!
